Excellent!Fishing this year continues to be very strong for salmon, bass, lakers, browns and perch. Anglers even brought in walleye
this past weekend, and one local fisherman marked walleye on the other side of the point.
Bassers are
advised to use live bait and stick near the islands in about 20 feet of water. One trophy bass was brought in from between
the green buoy and Bass Island, a 5-and-a-quarter pounder.
For salmon, the shipping lanes seem to be the
best best, although some have been caught in the trench as well. Northern Kings, Fishlanders and Stingers in greens and black
and silvers are getting great results, with herring for bait.

Salmon UpdateThey're still bringing in nice salmon. Best place to catch them is near the lighthouse, abou 1 - 1.5 miles out.

Last weekend......we continued to see nice salmon catches, as well as bass. For bass, your best bets are off Calf Island where anglers
are catching their limits in 12 feet of water using crankbait, and the backside of Big Galoo.
